About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Technical Services group, leading the planning, execution, and delivery of hardware and software solutions for our enterprise clients in the financial services and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical delivery, coordinating cross-functional and client-facing teams to deploy complex technology solutions on time, within scope, and within budget — while meeting the rigorous compliance, security, and reliability standards expected by enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of hardware and software solution projects for enterprise financial and industrial clients, including deployments, integrations, upgrades, and migrations
- Serve as primary project point of contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations and relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders, and the Technical Services Director
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies spanning both hardware procurement/deployment and software implementation workstreams
- Manage project budgets, tracking costs, margins, and forecasting spend across client engagements
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including field engineers, solution architects, software developers, and third-party/OEM vendors
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, with particular attention to client environments with strict uptime, security, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate project status, timelines, and issues to client stakeholders, senior leadership, and the Technical Services Director
- Ensure projects adhere to relevant industry compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., financial services regulations, data security requirements) as well as internal IT governance
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments through formal change control processes, particularly around hardware lead times and client sign-off requirements
- Coordinate hardware logistics, installation scheduling, and vendor delivery timelines alongside software implementation milestones
- Facilitate project meetings including kickoffs, status updates, steering committees, and post-deployment reviews with client and internal teams
- Maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, RAID logs, statements of work, and post-implementation reviews
- Manage relationships with hardware/software vendors and subcontractors involved in solution delivery
- Support pre-sales or scoping activities as needed, providing project delivery input into proposals and statements of work
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects involving both hardware and software delivery, ideally in a technical services, systems integration, or managed services environment
- Experience delivering projects for enterprise clients, particularly in financial services and/or industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of hardware deployment lifecycles (procurement, installation, configuration) alongside software implementation and SDLC practices
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) applied to mixed hardware/software delivery
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet) and familiarity with ticketing/service management platforms
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-vendor coordination abilities
- Experience managing project budgets, margins, and resource planning across concurrent client engagements
- Understanding of compliance and security considerations relevant to financial services or regulated industry clients
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
- Experience with data center, network infrastructure, or enterprise hardware deployments
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA)
- Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background working for a systems integrator, VAR (value-added reseller), or managed services provider
- Experience managing vendor contracts, OEM relationships, and procurement processes
Key Skills
- Hardware and software project delivery
- Client relationship and stakeholder management
- Risk and compliance management
- Budget and margin management
- Vendor and OEM coordination
- Team leadership across technical disciplines
- Change management
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits package

- Professional development and certification support (PMP, technical certifications)
- Opportunity to deliver high-impact technology solutions for major enterprise clients
