Technical Site Supervisor

BTS Resources Sdn. Bhd. provides industrial tools and equipment, engineering solutions, and project services to customers across various industries. Our business includes assembly and production tools, mechanical and electrical works, equipment installation, and project implementation.

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Technical Site Supervisor to coordinate site activities, supervise subcontractors, monitor project progress, and ensure work is completed safely and according to customer requirements.

1. Site Supervision & Project Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for mechanical, electrical, equipment installation and other engineering projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, technicians and site workers to ensure work progresses according to the project schedule.
• Monitor site progress and report delays, issues or additional work requirements to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure site activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

2. Technical Coordination & Quality Control

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts and technical documents where required.
• Monitor installation, assembly, modification and other technical works to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Identify workmanship defects, technical issues and discrepancies, and coordinate with the relevant parties to resolve them.

Assist with site inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover where applicable.

3. Subcontractor & Supplier Management

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on work schedules, site requirements, equipment delivery and installation arrangements.
• Follow up on outstanding work and ensure subcontractors complete assigned tasks within the agreed timeframe.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of tools, materials and equipment.
• Communicate project requirements clearly to subcontractors and report performance or coordination issues to the Project Engineer.

4. Safety & Site Management

• Ensure compliance with customer site safety requirements and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools, materials and equipment are handled and stored properly.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, potential hazards and site incidents promptly.
• Ensure required site approvals and permits are obtained before work commences, where applicable.

5. Progress Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Report manpower requirements, work progress, delays, technical issues and outstanding items to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, inspection records and handover documents.
• Support the engineering team in tracking project schedules and completing site activities within the agreed timeline.
