Technical Solutions Specialist – Building Automation

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX | Open to relocation candidates (Relocation assistance is provided!)

About the Role

We’re partnering with an established provider of building automation and controls solutions to hire a Technical Solutions Specialist. This person will provide technical support to internal teams and external customers, troubleshoot complex BAS issues, and serve as a subject matter expert across key platforms.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Schneider Electric SpaceLogic/EasyLogic and Niagara, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.

Candidates must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and escalation assistance by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot BAS issues, identify root causes, and guide customers through resolutions.
• Configure, program, and commission controllers, with a focus on Schneider Electric SpaceLogic/EasyLogic.
• Design and maintain Niagara stations, including device integration, alarms, trending, scheduling, and graphics.
• Assist with remote connectivity solutions, including Tosi and Neeve.
• Document troubleshooting processes and develop technical guides and knowledge base resources.
• Share technical expertise through customer training, team coaching, and best-practice development.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the building automation or controls industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Schneider Electric SpaceLogic and/or EasyLogic and related software.
• Niagara TCP certification.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control sequences, commissioning, and controller programming.
• Experience with remote connectivity solutions such as Tosi and Neeve.
• Knowledge of BAS protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with others, and own issues through resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Niagara AX/N4 upgrades, migrations, and backup/restore processes.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting enterprise or multi-site BAS environments.
• Familiarity with Honeywell, Johnson Controls, EasyIO, Lynxspring, or other building automation platforms.
• Experience delivering technical training or customer workshops.

Location & Travel

This position requires residence in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Travel is limited, generally under 25%, with occasional trips for customer training, workshops, or team support.
