Technical Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Specialist to join our Technical Department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving production processes, creating technical documentation, managing product BOMs, supporting new product development, and providing technical solutions to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update product Bill of Materials (BOM) and material master data.
• Prepare technical documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
• Develop, revise, and maintain production testing standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production-related issues.
• Analyze production defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and product quality.
• Develop product samples and prototypes, prepare technical drawings, and conduct first-article inspections.
• Manage and maintain the sample and prototype inventory.
• Investigate customer complaints and returned products to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of production tools, equipment, and molds.
• Work closely with the Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales/Export teams to support business operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant technical or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and technical documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willing to be assigned in VOYAGESTART AUTOPARTS CORP.
