As a Control System Technical Specialist within our Sales organization, your focus is to translate technical capabilities into high-impact solutions that drive efficiency and safety for industrial operations. This is a critical technical advisory role where your expertise ensures that our control systems are positioned to solve real-world engineering challenges.

A Day in Your Life

Your time is spent navigating the intersection of engineering and business development. You might start the morning reviewing technical specifications for a new project, followed by a consultation with a client to understand their current system limitations. You will spend significant time preparing detailed technical proposals, conducting system demonstrations, and collaborating with the wider sales team to ensure our technical offerings align with the client’s long-term operational goals. No two days are identical, as you move between deep-dive technical analysis and client-facing advisory sessions.

The industrial landscape is shifting toward increased digitalization and integration. Who You Are

You are a technically-minded professional who enjoys the puzzle of industrial systems. You likely have a background in automation, electrical engineering, or a related field, and you possess the ability to explain complex logic in a way that resonates with both engineers and procurement managers. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by the desire to see a project move from a conceptual design to a fully functioning control environment.

What You'll Do & What You Bring

→ Provide expert technical support during the pre-sales phase, including system design and configuration. → Develop comprehensive technical proposals and tender documentation for control system projects. → Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing queries regarding system architecture and integration. → Maintain a deep understanding of Yokogawa’s control system portfolio and its application in various industrial sectors. → Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities within the Hungarian market. → You bring a degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, or similar) and relevant experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or PLC environments. → Fluency in Hungarian and a strong command of English are essential for technical documentation and internal collaboration.
