Technical Specialist (Visayas)

Job Summary

The Technical Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring field trials to evaluate the efficacy and performance of agricultural products. The role supports product development by conducting field research, analyzing trial results, preparing technical reports, and recommending appropriate product applications.

The position works closely with government agencies, research institutions, trial cooperators, and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of field trials and support the continuous improvement of agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Department of Agriculture, government agencies, and research institutions for product validation and field trials.
• Develop research proposals and trial plans in coordination with the Marketing and Technical/ISO Lead.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct product efficacy and field evaluation trials.
• Monitor field trial implementation, progress, protocols, and timelines.
• Evaluate bioefficacy protocols and analyze field trial results to assess product performance.
• Recommend appropriate product application methods based on trial findings.
• Prepare periodic trial updates and comprehensive technical reports for management review.
• Build and maintain relationships with research institutions, trial cooperators, and other technical partners.
• Monitor competitor field trials, agricultural technologies, and new product developments.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations to support product development and business growth.
• Perform other research and product development activities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related field.

Experience

• Experience coordinating with the Department of Agriculture, agriculture-related government agencies, and research institutions.
• Experience in bioefficacy trials, agricultural research, field trials, or product development.
• Familiarity with fertilizers, biostimulants, crop protection products, or other agricultural inputs.
