Technical Storage Server Team Leader (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Storage Server Team Leader to lead and support a team responsible for managing enterprise storage and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in storage systems, server environments, and team leadership skills. Mandarin language proficiency is required to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of technical engineers supporting storage and server infrastructure.

Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise storage and server systems.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement preventive maintenance.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for infrastructure support and projects.

Provide technical guidance, coaching, and escalation support to team members.

Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.

Prepare reports, documentation, and system performance updates for management.

Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in server/storage infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.

Strong knowledge of enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS) and server environments.

Experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and data center operations is an advantage.

Familiar with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and high availability architecture.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with VMware / Hyper-V / Cloud Infrastructure.

Knowledge of storage technologies such as NetApp, Dell EMC, or similar enterprise solutions.

ITIL or relevant infrastructure certifications are an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
