We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Superintendent to join our growing team in Piraeus and take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our fleet.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the technical condition and operational readiness of vessels
• Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, dry dockings, and major projects
• Coordinate Class, Flag State, PSC and third-party inspections
• Ensure vessels are fully compliant with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC and company standards
• Monitor and manage the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and vessel KPIs
• Provide technical support and guidance to Masters and Chief Engineers
• Analyze fuel, lube oil, speed and environmental performance
• Prepare and control technical budgets and vessel expenditures
• Approve purchase orders and invoices within your authority
• Liaise with shipyards, suppliers, classification societies and service providers
• Conduct vessel visits , inspections, and condition assessments
• Prepare technical and performance reports for management
• Support crew development through technical mentoring and feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Senior Engineering Officer seagoing qualification
• Degree in Marine Engineering, Fleet Engineering or similar
• Previous experience as Technical Superintendent or Fleet Engineer in a ship management or ship owning company
• Strong knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC , Class & Flag requirements
• Experience with dry dockings, budgets, repairs, and technical project management
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with both shipboard and shore-based teams
• High sense of responsibility, safety, and professionalism
