Technical Supervisor

About the role

As the Technical Supervisor at TCR Solution Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's technical teams. Based in Kuching, Sarawak, this full-time position will see you leading and directing a team of skilled technicians to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of technical teams to meet production targets and quality standards
• Providing technical guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
• Monitoring and reporting on team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures
• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensuring timely and effective resolution of any technical issues
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to project activities and team performance
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth integration of technical processes with the overall business operations
• Managing inventory, performing hands-on mechanical or electrical work, customer management, maintaining EQ availability and maintenance compliance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the ground support equipment (GSE), heavy equipment, automotive, or other related industries
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the relevant field, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical thinking
• Proficient in relevant software tools and systems used in the industry (SAP)
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental practices
