We're supporting a leading data centre services provider in the search for a Critical Services Team Lead to join a growing operation in Bischofsheim, near Mainz .

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technician, Lead Engineer, Electrical Supervisor, Shift Lead, or Maintenance Team Leader looking to step into a management position within the rapidly expanding data centre sector.

The Role

As the Critical Services Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of five technicians while supporting the day-to-day delivery of maintenance, compliance, and technical operations across the site. You'll work closely with site leadership, coordinate maintenance activities, manage contractors, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery and safety.

You will also act as deputy to the Site Manager when required, making this an ideal stepping stone into broader operational leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Electrical qualification or technical trade background.
• Previous experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Lead Technician, or Senior Technician.
• Experience within critical environments such as data centres, utilities, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong maintenance planning and coordination experience.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop technical teams.
• Knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and statutory inspections.
• Fluent German and English communication skills.

Data centre experience is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from other critical or technical environments are encouraged to apply.
