Technical Supervisor

About the role

Heil Trailer Asia Limited is seeking a Technical Supervisor to join our new service center in Si Racha, Chon Buri. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety and efficiency of our service processes. As Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, leading a team of technicians and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering superior trailers and ensuring our facility operates at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of technical and service teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules

• Monitor repair processes and quality standards to ensure all products meet company specifications and industry regulations

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify maintenance needs and prevent downtime

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring safe work practices and proper use of equipment

• Investigate technical issues, repair problems and defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across all technical operations

• Train and mentor technicians, fostering professional development and skill advancement

• Manage spare parts inventory and equipment maintenance schedules to minimise production interruptions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Technical Supervisor or similar supervisory role in manufacturing or heavy equipment production or truck service center

• Strong technical knowledge of trailer manufacturing, welding, fabrication or mechanical assembly processes

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Solid understanding of quality control standards, safety regulations and ISO standards relevant to manufacturing

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions

• Experience with maintenance planning and equipment lifecycle management
