About the role

We are seeking a Technical Supervisor for Makati to join our dynamic construction team based in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. As Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, managing construction teams, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations to ensure projects progress according to schedule and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate construction teams, including labourers, skilled tradespeople, and equipment operators
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work meets quality standards, building codes, and company specifications
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment and ensure compliance with regulations
• Monitor material deliveries, inventory management, and equipment maintenance on site
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues or concerns
• Document daily site activities, prepare progress reports, and maintain accurate project records
• Address and resolve technical issues and discrepancies that arise during construction
• Train and mentor site personnel on proper procedures, safety practices, and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and site cleanliness standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Foreperson, or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes applicable in the Philippines
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate various construction activities effectively
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor workers
• Technical competency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Proficiency in using construction management software and basic computer skills
• Certification in occupational health and safety or willingness to obtain such certification
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions quickly in challenging situations
• Physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to different project sites as required
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
