Technical Support Advisor (German - speaking) - Remote - MA05

At Mahle SBS as a Technical Support Advisor on our team, you will:

-Provide technical support and assistance to customers via e-mail and phone. -Addresses, responds and resolves to customer inquiries on products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting and maintenance.
-Provide response in a timely manner to customers queries and focuses on building close long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Delivers training to OEM´s and assemblers as per request and business needs.
• Deploys high level knowledge in the market and collect information for corrective action & improvement.
• Takes control of OEM´s claim by escalating to key company areas if necessary.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain department for parts pick-ups and replacement shipments.
• Guides customers through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
• Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
• Prepares customer reports to track progress on improvement actions
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required skills:

• Bike industry or mechatronic background is important
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills
• Proficient in customer focus skills
• Professional and pleasant telephone and face to face manner
• Availability to travel and visit customers when required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Are proficient or bilingual in German plus an advanced level of English
• High School graduate or Higher
• Have customer care skills - ability to listen to and understand the customers' need
• At least 3 years' experience in customer service environment
• CMS Office Package / MS Dynamics 365 / SAP
• Logistics knowledge / Training Skills / Innovation skills
