Technical Support Agent

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within a Broadband/Fibre Technical Support campaign, providing technical assistance to customers experiencing issues with their internet and fibre services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for broadband/fibre services.
• Assist customers with connectivity, network and service-related issues.
• Diagnose technical faults and guide customers through troubleshooting steps.
• Perform basic router, Wi-Fi and fibre connectivity troubleshooting.
• Log and accurately update customer queries and technical faults.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant technical teams.
• Ensure customers receive professional, efficient and customer-focused support.
• Follow up on outstanding technical queries where required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must have matric (uMalusi certificate is essential)
• Previous experience in technical support, broadband, fibre, ISP or telecommunications for atleast 12months.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of broadband, Wi-Fi, routers and fibre connectivity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable assisting customers with technical issues over the phone.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.

Pay: R5 380,00 - R6 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High School (matric) (Required)

Experience:

• tech support, broadband, fibre, ISP or telecommunications: 1 year (Required)
