Technical Support & Sales Specialist

Position Overview

Moly Manufacturing is seeking a Technical Support & Sales Specialist to join our team in Lorraine, Kansas. This position is an important point of contact for Moly customers, potential customers, and dealers, providing knowledgeable technical support, parts assistance, and product sales support.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and provide practical solutions. Knowledge of hydraulics, livestock handling equipment, or agricultural equipment is highly desirable.

This is a hands-on, customer-focused position that combines technical problem-solving, parts identification, customer service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers, dealers, and equipment operators by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and help customers identify practical solutions.
• Assist customers with hydraulic, mechanical, and equipment-related questions.
• Provide guidance on proper equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work with the Moly Manufacturing team to resolve more complex technical issues.
• Identify and sell replacement parts and components for Moly equipment.
• Assist customers in determining the correct parts for their equipment.
• Process parts orders and provide accurate product and pricing information.
• Maintain knowledge of current products, parts, accessories, and equipment configurations.
• Help customers with warranty and service-related questions.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information.
• Assist customers in selecting Moly Manufacturing products and equipment that meet their needs.
• Follow up on sales inquiries and leads.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and applications effectively.
• Identify opportunities for additional parts, accessories, and equipment sales.
• Support the sales team with product information and customer follow-up.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Moly Manufacturing products and their applications.
• Stay current on new products, product updates, and technical information.
• Represent Moly Manufacturing professionally and positively with customers and industry partners.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the company's operations and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-service-oriented with a professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to understand technical information and explain it clearly to customers.
• Ability to identify parts and components using product information, diagrams, and other resources.
• Agricultural, livestock, hydraulics, welding, mechanical, or equipment experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in technical support, parts, equipment sales, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective member of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and common business software.
• Willingness to learn Moly Manufacturing products and the livestock equipment industry.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
