About the role

Development Technical Support role responsible for receiving requirements from the sales department to initiate research and development of new products, including new product development and design modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage requirements from the sales department for research and development of new products
• Collect all information related to research and development requirements from sales for transfer to related sections for evaluation and approval to start new projects
• Prepare schedules of new development themes together with chemists, sales, and customers
• Follow up on research progress from chemists and sales to summarize and update information
• Design, plan, and prepare technical information for training to sales, customers, and other related departments as requested
• Search for opportunities to propose new products to the market
• Search for new market trends or new product ideas to support research and development work
• Provide technical information support to sales and customers as required
• Propose improvement plans on working processes in related job areas

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in science and engineering, especially chemistry, polymer, petrochemical, industrial chemical or other related field
• Knowledge of measuring techniques and related laboratory equipment
• Basic skill of calculation
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of computer literacy
• Able to communicate in English
• Normal eye-sight, not color blindness
