About the Role

Viscofan Globus Australia is a leading supplier of innovative food packaging solutions, working with customers across Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Support team member to join our Technical Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years' experience who is looking to start or grow their career in quality, food technology, packaging, or manufacturing.

Full training will be provided, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

As a Technical Support team member, you will assist the Technical and Quality teams with a variety of day-to-day activities. You will gain exposure to quality testing, product development, manufacturing processes, customer support, and technical projects while developing your knowledge of packaging materials and food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Team with day-to-day activities and projects.
• Help prepare samples, trial materials, and technical documentation.
• Assist with customer and factory trials.
• Assist in product testing and record results.
• Support quality assurance activities and investigations.
• Assist with maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Help maintain quality, technical, and product records.
• Support product development and new material evaluation activities.
• Provide general support to the Technical and Quality teams as required.

About You

• Qualification in, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or 1-2 years' experience in a technical, manufacturing, quality, laboratory, or food production environment. We would also consider candidates who wish to undertake part time study whilst working full time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Desire to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
