Job Summary

The Technical Support Engineer assists the lead technical engineer with the technical documents and coordination needed for crane and heavy equipment projects. This includes preparing and updating plans, quotations, presentations, drawings, reports, and other project paperwork. The role also involves gathering accurate technical information and coordinating with customers, suppliers, technicians, and project teams.

Job details include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and update technical plans, drawings, quotations, proposals, and presentations under the guidance of the lead technical engineer.
• Review equipment specifications, capacities, and technical data for use in project documents.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and other supporting documents.
• Organize project files and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, technicians, engineers, and project teams to gather information and follow up on requirements.
• Assist engineers and technicians during site inspections and equipment assessments.
• Document site conditions, measurements, and technical findings.
• Help monitor equipment delivery, installation, inspection, and maintenance activities.
• Follow technical instructions, company procedures, and equipment safety requirements.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and understand equipment specifications, capacities, and technical data
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation
• Basic knowledge of occupational and equipment safety requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good data entry and record-keeping skills
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other technical drawing software is an advantage

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer
• Detail-oriented, organized, and systematic
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with field personnel
• Willing to learn, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Driver’s license is an advantage
• Taguig resident
