Technical Support Engineer

€50,000–€52,000 + travel + training

Location: Close to Duisburg or an international airport

We’re supporting a global technology business in hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join their international Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and supporting customers across multiple regions.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver technical support to new and existing customers using advanced WA systems
• Provide corrective actions online and on‑site following customer issues
• Investigate product and assay‑related problems and document findings
• Support pre‑installation checks and assist with equipment installations
• Ensure systems run on the latest validated software updates
• Provide hotline support and produce clear, accurate documentation and reports
• Represent the company’s values, culture, and brand in every interaction

What you’ll bring

• Fluent German & English
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience working on automated warehouse equipment to a high technical standard
• Strong technical mindset with experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
• Confidence working independently and managing irregular hours when needed
• Willingness to travel across EMEA and APAC for customer support
• Commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date engineering knowledge through training and development

Additional requirements

• Based near Duisburg or an international airport
• Comfortable with unplanned travel and on‑call duties
• Open to supporting customers across multiple countries and time zones
