Technical Support Engineer

ABOUT CLERIE

We're building an electronic health record (EHR) platform for behavioral health practices, with a HIPAA-compliant AI assistant that automates the work that buries clinicians in admin: scheduling appointments, drafting case notes, generating custom reports, and streamlining insurance claims.

Clinicians can do tasks themselves or hand them off to Clerie's AI. Our goal is simple: less paperwork, more time for patient care and practice growth.

WHY THIS ROLE

You'll be one of the first people customers talk to, and one of the people who shapes how the product gets better. As an early member of a growing team, you'll have real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a clear path to grow into bigger roles (support leadership, customer success, solutions, or engineering) as the company scales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Help customers by responding to support tickets, phone calls, and chat inquiries

• Diagnose and resolve software and configuration issues

• Guide customers through product features and best practices

• Fix minor issues directly where you can, and escalate complex problems to engineering with clear context

• Work with product and engineering to flag recurring issues and improve the product

• Create and maintain help articles and support documentation

• Lead occasional training sessions and demos so customers get the most from new features

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills

• Customer service skills: empathy, clarity, and professionalism

• Analytical skills: you can read logs, spot patterns, and recommend solutions or workarounds

• Clear written and verbal communication, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical users

• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing priorities, and collaborating across teams

• Nice to have: experience with SaaS, EHR, or healthcare technology

• Nice to have: relevant coursework or certification in IT, computer science, or a related field
