Technical Support Engineer

For providing technical support and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure reliable network connectivity and efficient daily operations. This role handles network configuration, Wi-Fi access management, printing and scanning connectivity, DLL connection transfers, IT troubleshooting, and ticket escalation. It also involves coordinating with vendors for equipment repairs, conducting site visits, and collaborating with the IT Infrastructure team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and continuous IT service availability.

Network and Wi-Fi Management – Set up and maintain network connections for mass activities and configure guest Wi-Fi access for vendors, guests, and employees to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.

Printing and Scanning Support – Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printer and scanner connections to ensure uninterrupted document processing and accessibility for employees.

DLL Connection Transfer – Perform and coordinate DLL connection transfers to maintain proper connectivity and support IT infrastructure requirements.

IT Infrastructure Support – Conduct scheduled site visits to Biñan, Laguna, to assess IT infrastructure, address technical concerns, and provide on-site technical assistance as needed.

Vendor Coordination and Repair Assistance – Coordinate with external vendors for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure.

Ticket Management and Escalation – Monitor technical support tickets, assess reported issues, and escalate unresolved or critical concerns to the appropriate IT team for timely resolution.

IT Infrastructure Coordination – Participate in weekly IT Infrastructure meetings to discuss ongoing technical issues, operational updates, infrastructure requirements, and support activities.

Technical Troubleshooting – Identify and resolve network, connectivity, printing, and scanning issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficient business operations.

IT Service Continuity – Ensure that assigned IT support tasks are completed according to established schedules and service requirements, prioritizing high-criticality issues to minimize disruptions.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

With experience in IT technical support, network troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure maintenance is an advantage.

Knowledgeable in network connectivity, Wi-Fi configuration, printer and scanner setup, and basic network switch configuration.

Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, incident management, and ticket escalation procedures.

Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and installation.

Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to coordinate with vendors and provide on-site technical support.

Willing to conduct site visits, including assignments in Biñan, Laguna.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the IT team.

Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and customer service orientation.
