Technical Support Engineer / Field Application Engineer (FAE) – Electronic

Job Highlights

• Provide technical support for electronic component products.
• Work closely with Sales, customers, suppliers, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and promote product applications.
• Conduct product training, technical presentations, and customer seminars.
• Support new product introductions and help customers improve product specification-in (Spec-in) rates.
• Coordinate with Head Office and ASEAN subsidiaries on quality assurance and technical matters.
• Opportunity for overseas training and business travel within ASEAN and to countries such as China, Taiwan, and Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving at customer sites.
• Visit new and existing customers with Sales to address technical inquiries and introduce products.
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals for electronic components and driver-related solutions.
• Coordinate with R&D, suppliers, Head Office, and regional subsidiaries to resolve customer issues.
• Conduct product knowledge training for new employees, customers, and regional subsidiaries.
• Develop training materials and organize technical seminars and product introduction sessions.
• Identify new product trends and support product development initiatives through exhibitions and market research.
• Prepare monthly reports and provide technical updates to management.
• Travel locally and overseas as required, including short-notice business trips.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in electronic components; experience with electrolytic capacitors is an advantage.
• For experienced FAE candidates, 5+ years of experience in FAE or PCB design related to driver products is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic hardware and driver-related products.
• Good business English communication skills for coordinating with customers, suppliers, and management.
• Computer literacy and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Japanese language skills are an advantage.
• A valid driver's license, ability to drive, and own vehicle required.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas for customer visits, training, and exhibitions.
