About the Role

We are seeking a technically capable and customer-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team supporting innovative wireless lighting control solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.

This role focuses on helping customers integrate wireless communication modules into their electronic products, troubleshoot technical issues, and achieve reliable product performance. The successful candidate will combine a strong foundation in electronics with good problem-solving and communication skills.

Comprehensive product training and ongoing support will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electronics professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with customers, and developing expertise in wireless technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and business partners on the integration of wireless radio modules into electronic products.
• Investigate and troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, configuration, and product integration issues.
• Review electronic schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets, and technical drawings to identify potential design or installation issues.
• Assist customers with software application configuration and usage.
• Diagnose communication issues between electronic devices and connected systems.
• Provide clear technical guidance, recommend practical solutions, and keep customers informed of progress.
• Collaborate with regional and international engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, technical findings, recurring issues, and solutions for future reference.
• Identify recurring technical challenges and provide feedback to support product and service improvements.
• Undertake occasional business travel within the Asia-Pacific region when required.

Requirements

• Practical experience in electronics design, hardware development, or electronic product engineering.

• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, PCB layouts, component datasheets, and basic mechanical drawings.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of technical problems.

• Basic familiarity with software concepts and technical specifications.

• Experience with wireless communication or RF technology would be an advantage but is not essential.

• Previous experience in technical support, application engineering, field service, or a customer-facing engineering role is beneficial.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.

• A collaborative mindset, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.

• A long-term commitment to developing technical expertise and contributing to a close-knit team.
