Technical Support Engineer – Hardware and Software

Our Client is a leading international Company operating in the Industrial sector and, in order to strengthen their Product Industrialization Department, they're looking for a Technical Support Engineer – Hardware and Software

Posizione:

The successful candidate will join the 4th Level Technical Support team and work closely with the Research & Development, Quality, and Manufacturing departments.

The main objective of the role is to provide specialist support for complex technical issues, contribute to continuous product improvement, and develop technical documentation for service organizations.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage hardware-related technical escalations from customers and international service organizations.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systems.
• Manage 3th/4th-level software escalations.
• Analyze and resolve software and system-related issues.
• Perform analysis of logs, events, and operational anomalies.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of complex product issues.
• Reproduce and validate field-reported problems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to define corrective actions.
• Support the introduction of new products and new product features.

• Deliver technical training to technicians, partners, and customers.

Requisiti:

• Technical diploma or degree in Electronics/Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex electromechanical and software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, and automation systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to analyze application and system logs.
• Structured approach to fault analysis and problem solving.
• Knowledge of scripting languages and tools (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking.
• Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory requirement).
• Availability for travel within Italy and abroad.

• Experience with ATMs, Banking Automation, vending machines, kiosks, POS systems, or other self-service solutions.
• Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment.
