Technical Support Engineer - HVAC (VRF/Chiller)

About the role

Provide technical support for VRF and chiller systems to sales teams, contractors, consultants, and customers. Assist in HVAC system design, equipment selection, capacity calculation, and technical proposals based on project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review HVAC drawings, technical specifications, and equipment schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements and product specifications
• Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting for installation, commissioning, and system performance issues
• Support the sales team in project presentations, technical discussions, and customer meetings
• Conduct product training and provide technical guidance to contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Coordinate with the factory and overseas technical teams to resolve technical issues and obtain product-related information
• Visit project sites when required to provide technical assistance and ensure proper product application

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HVAC technical support, application engineering, or project engineering, preferably involving VRF or chiller systems
• Good understanding of HVAC system design, refrigeration principles, equipment selection, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, technical specifications, and project documents
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and HVAC design or selection software is an advantage
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, to coordinate with overseas technical teams
• Willing to travel to project sites when required
