Technical Support Engineer II

Our client, a Technology Company,  is looking to hire a  Technical Support Engineer II  in  Charlotte  , NC Job Title: Technical Support Engineer II

Location: Charlotte, NC - Onsite 

Duration: 5 Months

Pay Rate Range:  $35/hr - $40/hr (DOE)

Responsibilities Include:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, switches, and video conferencing systems.
• Support live and hybrid events by managing presentations, camera angles, audio boards, AV switching, and streaming equipment.
• Maintain conference rooms through proactive equipment checks, room sweeps, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting ServiceNow requests.
• Configure and adjust conferencing equipment to ensure reliable audio, video, and presentation quality.
• Coordinate with AV operations, event technology, and network operations teams to support meetings and events.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an AV Technician or in a similar audiovisual support role.
• Hands-on experience with Zoom Rooms, audio boards, and AV switching.
• Practical knowledge of microphones, speakers, amplifiers, Crestron systems, video conferencing, and streaming equipment.
• Experience supporting live events, conference rooms, and hybrid meetings.
