TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (INDOOR)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to and provide technical support for customer enquiries on products and system applications.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and assist with counter sales enquiries.
• Perform product testing, configuration and functional verification before deployment or delivery.
• Carry out firmware upgrades and assist with product setup and configuration.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose product issues, including RMA cases, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and manage demo units to ensure they are in good working condition and ready for customer demonstrations.
• Assist in preparing technical information, product specifications and troubleshooting guides where required.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams on technical issues and product-related matters.
• Provide other technical support as assigned by the supervisor or management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in technical support, system support, product support or a related technical role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking, IP systems and computer hardware/software.
• Experience with security products such as CCTV, access control, intercom or related systems will be an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, sales teams and internal departments.
• Willing to learn new products and technologies.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
