Technical Support Engineer / Technology Consultantv

Role Description

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer / Technology Consultant to provide technical guidance, troubleshoot technology-related issues, and support the implementation and optimization of IT solutions. The role involves working closely with customers, users, technical teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver reliable technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, system, and application issues, responding to technical support requests, and providing clear technical guidance to users and customers. The role also involves analyzing system requirements, evaluating technical solutions, supporting system configuration and implementation, and ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Technology consulting responsibilities include gathering requirements, assessing existing technology environments, preparing technical documentation, recommending suitable solutions, and supporting system integration, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives. The role may also contribute to project planning, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, user training, and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, networking, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, databases, APIs, virtualization, and common business technology platforms.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, network troubleshooting, and system connectivity.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with IT service management, ticketing systems, system monitoring, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, developers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on service quality, system reliability, and customer satisfaction.
