Job Purpose

We are looking for a specialized Technical Support Manager to oversee government tender technical evaluations, manage tender compliance, and provide expert on-site technical support. You will act as the technical gatekeeper- deciding tender feasibility based on product specifications—and manage pre/post-bid technical requirements, compliance documents, and on-ground technical support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender Scrutiny & Feasibility (Go / No-Go Decisions)

·       Technical Gap Analysis: Review published government tenders and evaluate product technical specifications against company offerings.

·       Strategy planning:

• planning strategy according to bid requirement how we can win this tender and competitor evaluation.

·       Decision Making Recommendations: Assess whether our products fully comply with tender criteria, issuing clear technical clearances or rejections to management before bidding.

·       Compliance Management: Ensure all required technical documentation, certifications (BIS, CE, ISO, etc.), and quality parameters are accurately mapped and verified.

2. Tender Documentation & Portal Operations

·       Technical Bid Preparation: Compile, draft, and finalize technical bid dossiers, compliance sheets, and manufacturer authorization certificates.

·       Representations & Clarifications: Draft technical representations, pre-bid queries, and official complaints regarding biased or non-compliant tender specifications on portals like GeM.

·       Pre-Bid Meetings: Attend pre-bid meetings to technically for product compliance and clarify specification requirements.

3. On-Site Technical Field Support & Demonstrations

·       Product Demonstrations: Lead and execute successful on-site technical product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations for institutional buyers, doctors, or technical committees.

·       Technical Liaison: Provide on-ground technical support during institutional evaluations, installations, and technical inspections.

·       Post-Bid Technical Support: Address technical queries or objections raised by evaluation committees during the technical bid opening phase.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

·       Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

·       Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical bid evaluation, tender compliance, and technical support (preferably within medical equipment or institutional supply industries).

·       Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and e-procurement portals from a technical compliance perspective. Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference complex technical sheets and international/national standards.

• Skills: Exceptional analytical and documentation skills for tender scrutiny. Professional communication for handling technical committees and institutional stakeholders.
