Technical Support Manager (PCB Industry)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage the Technical Support team, including manpower planning, performance management, and staff development.
• Provide technical support for PCB products, including customer applications, product troubleshooting, and quality issue resolution.
• Support new product introductions (NPI), product qualifications, and process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process, and Sales to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, prepare technical reports, manage departmental budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support to regional manufacturing sites and perform other assignments as directed by management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, laminates, prepregs, and related materials.
• Proven experience in customer technical support, quality problem-solving, and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to travel when required.
• Good verbal communication skills in Chinese and English. Proficiency in Chinese is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
