You’ll receive full on-the-job training, with a strong emphasis on personal development and progression. The role offers a clear path through the different levels of Technical Support, with opportunities to progress into other areas of the business as your experience develops.

The role is fully-office based at our modern offices within the 70-acre Ransom Wood business park in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Given the nature of our 24/7 Support Team, this is a dedicated night-shift position working a 4-on, 4-off rotation from 7:30pm to 7:30am. This means working four consecutive night shifts followed by four days off, with weekends and bank holidays included as part of the normal rotation.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and resellers, providing high-quality technical support through our ticketing system and live chat. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding customers through troubleshooting, and escalating more complex problems to higher-level support where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong interest in technology and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Providing outstanding support is one of our key company values, and this role plays an important part in ensuring our customers receive a seamless and efficient experience.

We do holidays a little differently too. You’ll receive 24 days of annual leave, including your bank holiday allowance, but you can choose when to use those days rather than being required to take them on bank holidays.

The following experience is required for this role:

• Studied IT, Computer Science or a closely related subject at university or college.
• A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for technology.
• A strong academic background.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident and self-motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude.
• A desire to learn, develop and progress within the business.
• Able to commute reliably to our office in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire for each shift.

The following would be beneficial:

• Experience within a web hosting and/or support desk environment.
• Knowledge of applications such as WordPress, Joomla and WHMCS.
• A good understanding of DNS and domain names.
• Familiarity with the Linux command line.
• An understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
