Technical Support Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Technical Support Officer / Executive (Electrical) with strong experience in electrical panel design, wiring, and protection systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in control panel wiring, electrical calculations, and selection of protection and measuring devices, preferably in the power generation or industrial electrical sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical wiring drawings and panel layouts for control panels and related systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical panels and equipment.
• Perform electrical load calculations, current calculations, and cable sizing.
• Select and specify protection devices such as MCCBs, ACBs, relays, CTs, PTs and measuring instruments.
• Assist in preparation of technical submittals and documentation.
• Provide technical support to engineering, sales, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for technical clarifications.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical panel design, wiring, and installation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical protection systems and measuring devices.
• Ability to perform electrical calculations and prepare technical drawings.
• Experience in generator control panels, switchgear, or industrial electrical systems will be an advantage.

Preferred

• Experience with generator control systems, protection relays, and synchronization panels.
