Northern Jet is seeking a qualified Technical Support Representative to oversee day-to-day IT needs for our growing operation. This individual will be the go-to resource for technical support across our Orlando, Grand Rapids, and Naples locations and must be confident making decisions independently, managing their own time effectively, and ensuring systems run smoothly with minimal oversight.

This is an in-person position based in our headquarters in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical support contact for all end-user issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems including Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, JAMF for Mac management, and Meraki network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, with a strong focus on user satisfaction and data security.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities.
• Monitor network health, recommend upgrades or fixes proactively, and implement improvements with minimal disruption.
• Travel to Grand Rapids, MI up to 25% of the time for hands-on support, project work, and collaboration with leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify long-term IT needs and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage IT inventory and procurement in coordination with operations.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical support experience (hardware, software, network).
• Proven experience with:
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite and administrative tools
  • Azure Active Directory for user and group management
  • JAMF Pro for Mac device deployment and control
  • Cisco Meraki networking (firewalls, switches, APs)
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and self-leadership skills.
• High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information discreetly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users effectively.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed (primarily to Grand Rapids, MI).

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical support, systems administration, or helpdesk role
• Proven experience with:
  • Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Azure Active Directory
  • JAMF Pro (Mac management)
  • Cisco Meraki network systems
• Experience working independently or in environments without direct IT supervision is strongly preferred
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, JAMF, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move computer equipment and hardware up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in and around aircraft hangars and office settings
• Ability to bend, kneel, or reach during equipment setup or troubleshooting
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or assisting users
• Ability to travel by commercial airline or company aircraft, as needed, up to 25% of the time
