Beyond our optics, we are dedicated to promoting science education and dark-sky preservation. We partner with STEM and outdoor initiatives worldwide to foster intellectual curiosity in new generations of scientists, engineers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
This is an exciting, high-growth role within our Technical Support Department. We deeply value cross-functionality, encourage our team to gain experience across departments, and have a proven track record of promotion from within!

What You’ll Do:
· Multi-Channel Customer & Technical Support: Deliver fast, friendly, and expert assistance via phone, live chat, and e-mail-based help desk system.
· Consultative Sales & Order Processing: Assist with orders and recommend the right optics and accessories to turn inquiries into sales.
· Astro-Imaging Subject Matter Expert: Act as the primary specialist for complex astro-imaging inquiries, coordinating across departments to resolve advanced customer questions.
· Product Education & Knowledge Sharing: Participate in ongoing paid product training and lead at least one team training session per year to share your technical knowledge.
· Cross Department Collaboration: Work directly with Engineering and Repair teams to identify and resolve product trends.
· Service Excellence: Maintain login times and ticket closure goals to ensure stellar customer satisfaction across all channels.
What You Bring to the Table
· Customer Focus & Passion: Enthusiasm for helping customers and learning new technologies. (Bonus points if you're fascinated by or have a background in astronomy)
· Technical & Sales Experience: Sales or technical support experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for candidates who are a strong fit. Familiarity with help desk tools and remote desktop software is a plus.
· Strong Communication: Clear, professional, and empathetic written and verbal communication across all support channels.
· Self-Motivation: Ability to work productively from home, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-moving technical environment.
· Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak volumes including occasional weekends to meet response time goals.
Company Benefits:

· Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
· Paid Vacation (3 Weeks PTO) & Paid Holidays
· Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance
