Technical Support Senior Executive, Trading Systems (Listed Derivatives)

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for providing daily technical assistance for the operations of the eSolutions Desk, creating efficiencies, and delivering general Information Technology (IT) functional, technical, and operational support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Head of eSolutions in managing client onboarding projects, including the preparation of onboarding documentation and paperwork.
• Report directly to the Head of eSolutions and support the coordination and execution of end-to-end testing schedules for eSolutions clients and the Kenanga Futures (KF) Front Office system at headquarters.
• Support and facilitate day-to-day technical operations, including troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
• Provide technical assistance to eSolutions clients and support the KF Front Office trading system as required.
• Coordinate technical support activities for eSolutions clients and users with trading access, including the Futures Execution Team, Single Licensed Representatives, and Commissioned FBRs at Head Office.
• Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties, including Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD), CME, and technology vendors, to ensure seamless technical operations and issue resolution.
• Report directly to the Head of eSolutions and provide regular feedback and input on day-to-day technical operations and support activities.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by highlighting operational issues and recommending practical solutions.
• Perform any other duties and participate in projects as assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• CMSRL license (Modules 14 & 16) desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in an IT-related field or IT infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to provide clear and effective updates to management.
