JOB DESCRIPTION:

Helpdesk

• Prioritize and manage many open trouble tickets at one time.
• Laptop, device and software diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Help Desk support and coverage.
• Document issues, resolutions, and patterns to support continuous improvement and escalation to senior technology staff when needed.

Educational and Event Technology Support

• Point of contact for classroom, office and event technology trouble calls and setup.
• Equipment inventory and lifecycle management.
• Audio/Video systems installation and repair management.
• Collaborates with the Director of Technical Theater to provide technical support to on-campus events such as presentations, receptions, and other special events.
• Digital signage maintenance and management.
• Digital testing equipment and space support.

Technology Project Support and Implementation

• Installation of new and replacement equipment.
• Assist with implementing new solutions and/or replacing current systems. I.e.A/V systems (Projector/TV/Audio systems), desktops, phones, MFP/Copiers, etc...

Other

• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
• Support for additional school-day student-facing activities (e.g. advisory, club, elective, DEI initiative, etc), as assigned by the Director.

QUALIFICAITONS:

• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years of experience providing technical support in a school, educational, or customer-facing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS devices, printers, A/V systems, and end users.
• Willingness to work assigned schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: $50,000 - $62,000 (based on a $24.00 - $31.25 hourly rate), depending on qualifications and experience
This is a full-time, year-round, hourly (non-exempt), benefited position
