Technical Support Specialist (North / Variable Bonus / Civil Engineering)

Company Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Technical Support Specialist to join our engineering operations. In this role, you will work closely with clients and design teams to plan mechanical designs, model solutions, run simulations, and coordinate building maintenance unit and scaffolding systems.

Job Highlights

• Basic Salary up to $3100

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Alternate Saturday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

• Location: Ang Mo Kio

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and internal engineering teams to clarify technical applications and operational requirements.

• Coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure design coherence across all project phases.

• Plan and execute mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD software.

• Conduct research to inform required design and engineering methods for mechanical systems.

• Perform computer simulations and virtual experiments to test and refine designs.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and project budgets.

• Prepare technical reports, design specification documents, and operational manuals.

• Stay updated on the latest technology advancements, design trends, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in engineering design programs such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks.

• Knowledge of structural calculation software like StaadPro and Idea Statica is an added advantage.

• Understanding of design and engineering principles, best practices, and Euro Code 3 standards.
