Technical System Analyist

About the role

You turn requirements from our Korea team into English specifications that our Jakarta developers can build from. Requirements from Korea are often rough. Your job is to find what they do not say, ask the right questions, and close the gaps before development starts. You use your development background to read the code, understand how the system works today, and write specifications that fit it. This is a hands-on analyst role. You will not manage people, and you will not be assigned feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Writing English specifications: turn a rough requirement into a specification a developer can implement without further questions (flows, states, API contracts, data changes, error and failure cases, acceptance criteria)
• Reading and checking code: see how things work now, find what a change will affect, and check that the implementation matches the specification
• Supporting developers: answer questions about your specifications and update them when something changes

About you

• 2+ years of hands-on software development (any backend language)
• 2+ years in which writing specifications was a main part of your job (FSD, TSD, API specifications, or BRDs that developers actually built from)
• Experience working with an external system you did not control; you understand retries, timeouts, idempotency, and reconciliation
• Clear written English. Simple, short sentences are what we want
• Native or fluent Bahasa Indonesia
• Able to work on-site at our Jakarta office every day
• When a requirement is vague, your instinct is to ask rather than to guess
