Technical Team Lead Electronic Components Engineering (m/d/w) - 897345/1

For our renowned client, a global leader in the development, production, and sales of innovative technologies for energy-efficient building solutions, we are looking for a Technical Team Lead - Electronic Components Engineering (m/f/d).

Project start: asap

Project duration: 9 months with the option to extend

Location : Hinwil, Zürich (2 days working from home)

Workload: 80-100%

Responsibilities:

• Take over the team lead responsibilities (team of 10 people) related to team coordination and task management. HR-related topics are not part of the assignment and are out-of-scope
• Opening new components in accordance with established processes and procedures
• Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying second sources as part of a multi-source strategy, following the defined qualification process
• Coordinating changes to existing components in SAP in close collaboration with Design Engineers
• Maintaining a clear overview of all open tasks, considering urgency and priority (important vs. urgent), and ensuring that team members remain focused on the most critical work (Jira)
• Managing the ticketing system ( it's a central mailbox), ensuring timely processing, prioritization, and assignment of requests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Long-term hands-on experience in components engineering, including component selection, qualification, lifecycle management, and technical support throughout the product development process.
• Solid experience in managing technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and driving project objectives from concept to completion
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with responsibility for planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Experience in leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration, mentoring employees, and supporting organizational growth
• Practical experience with Confluence and Jira, including project tracking, documentation management, and agile collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Englisch; German skills are an advantage
