Working closely with local and global stakeholders, you will implement training initiatives, monitor learning effectiveness, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing training, workforce capability development, and project execution, who can successfully build and scale training programs for a rapidly growing organization.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement role-based curricula, competency frameworks, and training plans for various job profiles within the Greenfield factory in close collaboration with business stakeholders.

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and successful establishment of a state-of-the-art training center for blue-collar employees, ensuring alignment with business and operational requirements.

  • Coordinate training activities for both white-collar and blue-collar employees, collaborating with local management, operational teams, and key stakeholders to ensure effective workforce readiness.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing training team responsible for organizing, managing, and delivering training programs and learning initiatives.

  • Champion a strong culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout all training activities and development programs.

  • Organize and manage internal and external trainers, mentors, and subject matter experts to effectively deliver technical, operational, and behavioral training programs.

  • Deliver foundational training programs when required and serve as a backup trainer to ensure continuity and effectiveness of learning initiatives.

  • Implement global training programs, learning tools, digital platforms, and content at the local level while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

  • Establish robust processes for tracking training activities, participant records, learning progress, certifications, and program effectiveness through relevant learning management and reporting systems.

  • Monitor and report training KPIs, learning effectiveness metrics, and competency development progress to project leadership and global training organizations.

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external training providers, including Engineering Colleges, Diploma Institutes, ITIs, vocational training centers, and other technical education institutes to strengthen talent pipelines and workforce capability development.

  • Support workforce planning and organizational readiness initiatives by ensuring employees possess the technical and operational competencies needed to support current and future business requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.

  • Overall professional experience of 8-10 years, including a minimum of 5 years in training coordination, workforce development, talent development, or project management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing technical training programs, competency frameworks, learning curricula, and training delivery models.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, monitor, and execute multiple training initiatives simultaneously.

  • Experience establishing or supporting training centers, technical academies, workforce development programs, or large-scale learning initiatives is highly desirable.

  • Previous leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing learning and development teams.

  • Knowledge of power transformer manufacturing, electrical equipment, industrial manufacturing processes, or related engineering industries is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.

  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), training administration tools, competency management systems, and learning analytics is preferred.

  • Formal certifications in Training, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Project Management, or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
