Technical Training and Development Specialist

Summary : The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and conducting training activities to meet internal Bell Techlogix and client needs. This role will be instrumental in developing content for improving skillsets across all accounts.

Essential Functions:

• Create an unforgettable learning experience.
• Increase the knowledge of our client facing employees for both hard and soft skills.
• Design, plan, organize training activities and/or programs for employees.
• Design and deliver classroom, virtual presentations, and on-the-job training to both technical and support personnel.
• Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support administration of the training programs, including enrolling users and assigning curriculum and courses.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; College degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience developing and delivering both in person and virtual training in a corporate environment.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate, Rise, Storyline, Captivate, and Less only.
• Experience using the ADDIE model to develop training curriculum.
• Experience delivering virtual training via a video conference tool such as Teams or Zoom.

• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with adult learning theory.
• Ability to evaluate training effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick model and the four levels of evaluation.
• Must have the ability to effectively work multiple projects at one time.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail, quality orientation, and be well organized.
