We're looking for a Technical Writer to join our growing R&D team, playing a key role in how our products are documented, understood and supported across global markets. This is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative products that genuinely improve people's lives, while collaborating with engineering and product teams across an international business.

This role offers a genuine split between creating documentation for new product developments and updating existing technical documentation as products evolve. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with engineers throughout the product lifecycle, helping shape how information is communicated to customers, installers and internal teams.

About The Role As Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a wide range of technical documentation, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and tailored to different audiences.

Working alongside R&D, Engineering and Product Development teams, you'll translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation that supports both end users and technical professionals.

Key responsibilities include: Writing, editing and maintaining technical documentation for new and existing products

Producing user guides, installation manuals, FAQs, release notes and training materials

Working closely with engineers and product teams to gather technical information

Ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date as products and features evolve

Managing document version control and publication processes

Creating diagrams, screenshots and supporting visual content where required

Reviewing documentation with stakeholders and incorporating feedback

Leveraging AI tools to improve documentation quality and efficiency

About You We're open to candidates with previous Technical Writing experience, as well as engineers looking to move into a documentation-focused role.

You'll ideally have: Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail

The ability to present complex technical information in a simple, logical format

Strong editing and proofreading skills

Experience working with technical products, systems or engineering environments

Familiarity with documentation and content management tools

Understanding of software development or product development lifecycles

Experience managing multiple projects and engaging with a variety of stakeholders

Confidence using AI tools within your day-to-day work

An Engineering degree would be advantageous, although practical engineering experience will be equally valued.
