Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Writer to prepare, review, maintain and manage technical documentation in accordance with customer requirements, engineering standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical documents, engineering reports, technical manuals and work instructions.
• Develop documentation based on engineering inputs, drawings, specifications and process requirements.
• Review documents for technical accuracy, consistency, grammar and compliance with documentation standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and project teams to gather technical information.
• Maintain document revision history, version control and traceability.
• Manage document templates, formatting, numbering and approval workflows.
• Incorporate reviewer comments and update documents based on engineering changes.
• Maintain document registers and track document status.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation according to project schedules.

Required Skills

• 410 years of experience in technical writing or engineering documentation.
• Strong written English and technical communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical data.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of document control, revision management and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automotive, industrial engineering or manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM or document management systems.
• Knowledge of engineering change management and document approval processes.
