Designation – Technician

Job Summary

The Technician will be responsible for assembly, wiring, fitting, and testing of industrial cooling

systems. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and a

commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Installation

• Assemble and fit mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components as per approved

design drawings and specifications.

• Perform wiring, brazing, and electrical panel connections under the guidance of the

Production Engineer.

Testing & Commissioning

• Conduct leak testing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging for chillers and air-conditioning

units.

• Assist in functional testing and performance verification of finished products.

Production & Equipment Handling

• Operate production tools, machines, and testing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of tools to avoid damage and maintain productivity.

Quality Control

• Perform quality checks at each stage of the production process in line with company quality

standards.

• Identify and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities to the Production Supervisor.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the production area.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strictly adhere to workplace safety

protocols.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Report material shortages, equipment issues, or process bottlenecks promptly.
• Assist in product trials, prototype development, and continuous improvement initiatives as

required.

Education & Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical

trade

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in assembly or production of HVAC / industrial cooling equipment
• Freshers with relevant technical training may also be considered

Key Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, and refrigeration components
• Wiring, brazing, and panel connection skills
• Leak testing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging
• Ability to read basic drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.
