Job Summary
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented optician or doctor’s assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities include running pre-tests for doctors, managing front desk duties, providing outstanding patient care, training contact lens wearers, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. This role is essential for creating a welcoming patient experience while efficiently handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients warmly and assist with the check-in process.

• Pre-test and contact lens training.

• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.

• Verify patient insurance details and handle insurance-related tasks.

• Keep accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Assist with medical coding and ensure proper documentation of care plans.

• Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including phone calls and correspondence.

• Work with staff to maintain smooth office operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Technician is a must.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Great verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.

• Ability to multitask and stay professional in a fast-paced environment.
