Technician 1510

At Grease Monkey, we believe that great service starts with great people. While we are in the business of automotive care, our main focus is taking care of people—both our customers and our team. We pride ourselves on fast, honest, and friendly service, and we provide a supportive environment where you can learn valuable skills, grow professionally, and build a career.

Who We Are Looking For

You don't need to be a certified mechanic or have years of auto repair experience to join our team—we will teach you the technical skills!

What we can’t teach is drive, attitude, and work ethic. We are looking for team members who:

• Take Initiative: You don't wait to be told what to do. When you see something that needs cleaning, organizing, or fixing, you step up and do it.
• Are Customer-Focused: You enjoy meeting people, greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile, and making sure they have an outstanding experience.
• Have a Strong Work Ethic: You take pride in doing honest, quality work every day and showing up reliably for your team.
• Are Eager to Learn: You bring a positive, open-minded attitude and are excited to absorb new knowledge and master new processes on the job.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Warmly greet every customer who arrives, answer basic questions, and ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
• Master the Process: Work side-by-side with our experienced team to learn step-by-step automotive maintenance processes, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and safety inspections.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Proactively maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment and pit area.
• Work as a Team: Communicate effectively with teammates to perform fast, accurate, and high-quality preventative maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Positive Attitude & Driven Mindset: A proactive personality and a genuine desire to learn and succeed.
• Strong Communication: Ability to speak comfortably and courteously with customers and team members.
• Dependability: Punctual, reliable, and ready to work with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced shop environment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred/required depending on shop needs).

What We Offer

• Paid On-the-Job Training: Comprehensive training in automotive preventative maintenance—no prior mechanic experience needed!
• Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement into supervisor, assistant manager, or manager roles.
• Competitive Pay & Incentives: Starts at $13 and goes up, plus employee discounts.
• Supportive Team Environment: A friendly, fast-paced work environment where hard work and initiative are noticed and rewarded.
