We're a team that believes in doing things the right way, putting safety first, and taking pride in the work we do.

We're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician II who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and helping customers keep their businesses moving. If you're someone who takes pride in a job well done and wants to be part of a team that values your skills, we'd love to meet you.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Our customers rely on their equipment every day, and they'll rely on you to keep it running. You'll use your technical skills to diagnose problems, make dependable repairs, and help prevent costly downtime. More than fixing equipment, you'll build trust through honest work, quality service, and a commitment to safety.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild forklifts and material handling equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and lifting components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, major component repairs, and basic welding to keep equipment running safely and reliably.
  • Provide excellent service at customer locations or in the shop while maintaining accurate service records, organized parts and tools, and a clean, safe company vehicle.
  • Follow company safety standards and OSHA and DOT requirements, complete ongoing technical training, and support a team culture built on safety, accountability, and helping one another succeed.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 3 years of forklift repair or related equipment experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.
  • A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and certification on at least 65% of the Briggs Equipment product line. Trade school training and Hyster-Yale technician certifications are a plus.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and your own tools. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
  • A strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a safety-first mindset. You'll be comfortable traveling to customer sites, working in a shop environment, and participating in an on-call schedule as needed.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • A legacy you can be proud of. Join a company with over 130 years of history, built on integrity, reliability, and taking care of people.
  • Work that makes a difference. Put your skills to work solving real challenges, helping customers succeed, and keeping businesses moving.
  • A team that has your back. Work alongside good people who value safety, support one another, and encourage you to keep learning and growing.

At Briggs, you're more than a technician. You're part of a team that takes pride in its work, stands behind its promises, and looks out for one another. If you're ready to grow your skills, make a difference, and build a career with people who genuinely care, there's a place for you here.

Come build something great with Briggs Industrial Solutions.
