Technician (Automotive Accessories - Tinted & PPF)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform professional installation of automotive window tinting film, paint protection film (PPF), and other automotive protection products according to company standards and procedures.
• Prepare vehicles properly before installation, including cleaning, surface preparation, inspection, and protection of vehicle components.
• Measure, cut, shape, and apply tinting film and PPF accurately to achieve a high-quality and seamless finish.
• Ensure all installation work is completed with proper attention to detail and meets the company’s quality and workmanship standards.
• Conduct quality checks after installation to identify and rectify any defects, bubbles, creases, dust contamination, or other installation issues.
• Handle vehicles and equipment carefully to prevent damage during the installation process.
• Operate and maintain installation tools, equipment, and machinery in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow all workplace safety requirements, 5S standards, and company policies at all times.
• Work closely with Sales Advisors and other internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and completion of customer installations.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers when required and explain basic product features, care instructions, and after-installation requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment at the workshop.
• Attend and complete all required technical training and assessments provided by the Company.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and installation skills in automotive tinting, PPF, and related automotive protection products.
• Upon successfully completing the required training and passing the Company's technical assessment, the employee may be transferred to the Company’s Singapore branch to continue performing the assigned technical duties, subject to the Company’s operational requirements and applicable employment arrangements.
• The employee shall comply with all applicable requirements, policies, and procedures of the Singapore branch upon transfer.
• Perform any other technical, operational, or related duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Strong interest in automotive tinting, Paint Protection Film (PPF), car detailing, and vehicle care.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality workmanship.
• Able to perform precise cutting, fitting, and installation of automotive tinting film and PPF.
• Willing to learn and follow proper installation techniques, procedures, and company quality standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on technical work in a workshop environment.
• Able to handle vehicles, tools, and installation equipment carefully and responsibly.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and rectify installation defects or quality issues.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and committed to completing assigned work within the required timeline.
• Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in automotive tinting, PPF, car detailing, automotive accessories installation, or a related technical field will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply; full technical training will be provided.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo the Company's required training and technical assessment.
• Upon successfully completing the required training and passing the technical assessment, the candidate must be willing to transfer to and work at the Company's Singapore branch, subject to the Company's operational requirements and applicable employment arrangements.
• Must be willing to work in Cyberjaya during the training period.

What We’re Looking For

• SPM/Diploma/Degree in Business, Automotive, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in automotive accessories sales or workshop/aftersales a plus
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay (Proficiency in Mandarin will be added advantage to liaise with mandarin clients and management)
• Commercial mindset, ownership, and proactive attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
