Technician (Calibration)

Overview

Element has an opportunity for Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This role is based in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI using CMM, reference master, tester etc (on-site and in-house) with report and necessary administrative work
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as schedule and assigned
• Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s)
• Help manager to manage day-to-day calibration work in the labs reference to ISO17025 standard, eg. Quality/ Job Planning/ Job Assignment/ Customer Requirements etc
• Any other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff

Skills / Qualifications

• ITE/GCE/ Diploma in Aerospace/ Precision / Mechanical Engineering etc• 2 to 3 years working knowledge in QC/QA or Calibration / Testing field.• Ability to read and understand technical drawing and GD&T.• Ability to analyze and compile Calibration / testing data from the Calibration/ tests performed• Good to have 2 to 3 years CMM knowledge.• Good to have ISO17025 and measurement uncertainty knowledge• Possess strong computer skills

Physical Demands:• Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)• Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time• Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
