Service Engineer / Service Technician

What We're Looking For

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in machine servicing, maintenance, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (both theoretical and practical).
• Experience in servicing or repairing CNC press brake machines, shearing machines, and laser cutting machines is an added advantage.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of CNC press brake machines, shearing machines, and laser cutting machines.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults, and carry out corrective actions.
• Submit daily service reports upon completion of each assigned job.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive service reports after every service visit.
• Provide technical support and basic machine operation training to customers when required.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and customers.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the management.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service at all times.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain good housekeeping practices at customer sites and in the workshop.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
